Spirituality Discover: Fear

Nature has put an amount of inbuilt fear in all living beings. This fear makes life defend itself. Like salt in the food, a little bit of fear is essential for people to be righteous.
Fear of hurting someone makes you more conscious. Fear of failure makes you more keen and dynamic. Fear moves you from carelessness to taking care. Fear moves you from being insensitive to being sensitive.
Fear moves from dullness to alertness. Total lack of fear may lead to destructive tendency – a distorted ego knows no fear. Neither does the expanded consciousness! Whereas the ego dismisses the fear and moves in disruptive manner, the wise one acknowledge the fear and takes refuge in the Divine.
When you are in love, when you are surrendered, there is no fear. Ego, too, knows no fear. But there is a difference, like that of heaven and earth, between these two types of fearless states.
Fear makes you righteous; fear brings you close to surrender, fear keep you on path; keeps you from being destructive. Peace and law are maintained on the planet because of fear. A new-born child knows no fear – it totally relies on its mother.
Whether a child, a kitten or a bird, when they start becoming independent they experience fear which makes them go running back to their mothers. This is inbuilt by nature to sustain life.
So, the purpose of fear is to bring you back to the source!

Spiritual Aspect: Sorrow

The only thing you must remember is how fortunate you are. When you forget this you become sad.

Sorrow indicates:
1) your attachment to negative qualities, and
2) your attachment to positive qualities.

Your negative qualities make you sad. And when you think you are so great, you start blaming other; this also makes you become sad. The purpose of sorrow is to bring you back to the self, which is all joy. But this realization is possible only through Knowledge - awareness. Knowledge, the sorrow does not get completed and instead multiplies. Knowledge complete sorrow.
Only this path you have everything. This beautiful knowledge is complete with all flavors in it: wisdom, laughter, service, silence, singing, dancing, celebration, complaints(!), problem(!), complication(!),and chaos to add spice.

Life is so colorful!

God lives within you

When we pray we look for God some where in the sky. It is a common saying that He is looking at you that ever you do good or bad deeds. He keeps record of all your deeds. We develop an opinion that God must be in somewhere in the cosmos or on some other planet along with other God and Goddess. Our search in the universe might be guided by the wish of man to find the existence of God. But the saints declare on the basis of their knowledge and experience that the God is not somewhere outside our self. He is within our self. Our journey to spirituality will start by knowing this fact that He is with in us. There is need to find him. There is no need to find him in forests, mountain caves or to mosques, churches and temples. Christ explains in the Bible that “The Kingdom of God is within you.” The Persian Saint Bulleh Shah, says:

“The Lord of all, O Bulleh,
From us in not apart.
There is nothing that is not of His essence:
But the Seeing Eye is not there,
And that is why the pangs of separation
Must perforce be borne.”

God is within us but how to find him? How to feel him? We can find and feel him with the grace of the Master (Guru).

Mind and spirituality

What is the obstacle between you and your discovery of spirituality? It is our mind. Therefore, if there is any obstacle between the soul and the God, it is truly our mind. It is well saying “He who conquers the mind is Lord of all man kind” If you subdue your mind, you not only subdue the whole creation, but also it’s Creator. If there is one worst enemy of all in the world, it is our mind for at one time it is our friend, at another our foe. If you consider the matter carefully, you will discover that it is under the influence of the mind that religion fights against religion; nation fights against nation, and brother against brother, and each wish to get the best of the other. We often make plans to harm others. The main architect of all this is our mind. Therefore, as long as we do not control the mind, we can not realize the God and become one with Him. Our soul was originally pure, spotless and holy, but because of its association with the mind, it has become extremely impure and unclean. The water in clouds is pure, but when it falls on the earth as rain, it mixes with soil and gathers many impurities. The condition of our soul it’s like that of rain. Our discovery of spirituality will began when we will save our soul from inputs of mind. The soul of a child is pure, carefree and holy. If you want to discover divinity be like a child, fearless, stress free, lovable, smiling and pure.

Spirituality Define: ENLIGHTENMENT

ELIGHTENMENT IS BEYOND SEASONS LIKE THE EVERGREEN coconut tree. Sometime the question cones up: “What’s the use of all these courses if someone’s behavior has not changed?” Yet the knowledge acquired by human being cannot be measured or judged by external behavior. Someone may behave as though they have absorbed all the knowledge, but internally they have not. The reverse is also true. Sometime who seems not to have changed at all may have absorbed quite a lot. Ordinary people just look at the behavior; the intelligent looks beyond behavior and is amazed by the play of consciousness.

Behavior affects relationships;
Attitude affects behavior;
Knowledge or ignorance affects attitude;
Grace brings forth knowledge.

Inside, you are like a tree- barren in some seasons and at other times blossomed. Enlightenment is beyond seasons- like an evergreen coconut that yields its fruit throughout the year.

Spirituality Says Accept Blame

WHEN SOMEONE BLAMES YOU, WHAT DO YOU USUALLY DO? You blame them back or you put up a resistance in yourself. How do you feel when someone blames you? Hurt, unhappy, sad, heavy? This is all because you are resisting! What you resist, persist.

You get hurt because you resist the blame.

Know that when someone blames you, they take away some negative from you. If you understand this, you will only feel happy about it. If you resist when someone blames you, you are not allowing that person to take away the negative Karma. Even if you don’t react outwardly, you may still be resisting inside.
Actually it’s fine to resist outside, but inside don’t resist. You will feel immediately lighter. You can feel happy: Oh, good, somebody is blaming me and taking some of my negative karma. The ignorant person says, “Don’t blame me” because it hurts him. An enlightened person also says “Don’t blame me”. Do you know why? Because it might hurt you. You can tell someone not to blame you out of anger out of compassion.

Secret of rebirth: Washing Machine

OUR BOBY IS LIKE A WASHING MACHINE. OUR MIND IS LIKE cloth. Love is like pure water. Knowledge is detergent. Each lifetime is one wash cycle.
The mind comes into the body to get cleansed and pure. But if you put in mud instead of detergent, your clothes become dirtier than before. You will have to go putting your clothes repeats again and again.

Similarly, you will have many more births until you stop repeating the mistake you have made.
